Foundations of Human Physiology, from Unveil

Drawn from our flagship Unveil Coach Training Certification, this course provides an insight into health and wellness coaching – incorporating training in.

Taking 4 key lessons of training, this course will cover the Fundamentals of Human Physiology and Pharmacology (90 minute lecture), Hormones and Neurotransmitters (60 minute lecture), Autoimmunity and Immune Dysregulation (40 minute lecture) and Gut Health, including Gut-Brain Health (30 minute lecture).

You will also get access to exclusive workbooks, Audio downloads and be invited to view and recommend to your clients some core supplement protocols (UK/EU/Global Clients via Amrita Nutrition, US Clients via Fullscript).

Successful graduates on completion of Homework and Case Studies, reviewed by our Faculty) will be accredited as an Unveil Health Coach and listed on our Alumni Pages (for a $19 monthly fee). They will also receive graphics and badges for their own websites to demonstrate their Unveil accreditation.

The Human Physiology Training Curriculum

We begin with an intense primer on the nervous system and how it influences health and wellbeing on many levels. This training covers a vast array of physiology information which serves as an on-ramp to the more nuanced trainings in the remaining Modules.

This Module offers a comprehensive education in hormones – both in women and men – and how important they are to physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. We explore how neurotransmitters do (and don’t) play a role in mental health conditions – and what is important to bear in mind for your clients when it comes to hormones and neurotransmitter levels.

A core teaching from Unveil, we will break down for you the complexity of psycho-neuro-endocrine-immunology – and support you to understand how to work with clients who have various immune conditions – from autoimmunity to multiple sensitivity syndromes.

The final Module concludes with a dive into gut health – from the Unveil perspective. We discuss the nervous system, gut biome conditions and how to support your clients from both a physiological and psycho-emotional perspective when there are gut and digestive issues at play.

The Unveil Academy Coach Training FAQs

Here are just a few key questions answered. This section will grow over time as we get more questions about the course and curriculum.

This course is not designed to offer personal coaching to students and there are no individual 1:1 sessions included. There is no live session time, and no direct contact with Faculty, as part of this course.

You will have access to The Unveil Community forum, and at times Faculty and existing Unveil Coaches will be present there. No 1:1 coach time or Faculty time is guaranteed as part of this course.

You will NOT be a qualified Unveil Coach or Master Coach on completion of this course. You will receive accreditation as an Unveil Health Coach – qualifying you to utilize Unveil approved supplement stacks and health and physiology support with your coaching clients. You will not be able to refer to yourself as a Nutritionist or Naturopath.

At Unveil we are highly specific about the language – and distinction – of trauma awareness, being trauma informed and being trauma trained. ONLY those who have trauma training can work directly on the resolution of trauma imprinting in the body. This course is not a trauma training. The concept of the nervous system is trained heavily through the lens of physiology – and the links between illness and trauma are explained. However, you will not be a trauma-informed coach by completing this training.

You can go on to complete any other Unveil Course – including the standalone Pillars of Human Design and become a Student Coach (all offer different Modules of training). Acquisition of additional standalone training does not accredit you as a full Unveil Coach. However, on completion of this training you are eligible to receive discounted access to the full Certification Course at Unveil (Coach or Master Coach Track).
